![]() I solved that by creating two persistent links and alternating them when I have back to back meetings. Just be careful if you're having back to back meetings with the same link-otherwise, you get the next audience showing up at the tail end of the current meeting. I like how you can create a persistent link that you can go to every time rather than having to set up a new link for every meeting. I've even used it to pull church members into my Sunday School class on weekends that are homebound because of illness. We used GoToMeeting for years for internal meetings, sales calls-basically any meeting with remote participants. GoToMeeting has gained such good adoption that it has integrations everywhere with tools like Google Calendar, Chrome, Zapier, and others. I also love the companion product GoToWebinar that I've used for many webinars over the last several years. Pros: This is very well designed software for remote meetings with audio, video, and screen sharing. You can either connect with your computer (which is what I do-just make sure to use headphones to avoid an echo!) or you can use a phone. Very simple to communicate to other parties (as opposed to having long random links to look up in email invites!) Also-the audio is strong. The ability to connect with ease is greatly enhanced by the fact that you can have your own custom link that you set-and it just goes after "" (example: /johnsroom). Other software I've used has been dizzying at times-in which the algorithms move the people's faces when they talk. I like that it presents each person in a circle (for group view). We've even used it for team socials in order to continue to feel connected outside of work hours on occasion! It supports multiple connected users I've never hit the limit. Join.Me has been a breeze to use and the quality is very high. Now, it's just the click of a button and we can meet to resolve work issues with ease! In fact, I can even take control over my colleagues' computers (because, let's face it-I can fix things faster when I drive, right?) Join in your GoToMeeting session using one of the two ways explained above.Pros: Join.Me has revolutionized the way I work because it has (1) allowed me to work from home (which was always my dream!) as well as given me the opportunity to assist my coworkers with their SQL & Tableau data questions effortlessly! No more trips to and from each other's desks/offices, hoping he/she is (a) present and (b) available.Click on to install/start the GoToMeeting desktop app.You will come across the following prompt in a browser.Click on the meeting link for the respective session. In order to do so, you will have to leave the ongoing session and rejoin using the same meeting link. While joined in a GoToMeeting session, you cannot switch from the web app to the desktop app. Note: If you are logged into your GoToMeeting account and are joining someone else's meeting, select "Join a meeting" in the desktop app then enter the meeting ID. ![]()
